| Close Enough? |
When
Terry and Marjatta asked us what we'd like to do or see, I answered
that I wanted to see kangaroos, to which they replied, "how many do you
want to see?" Our thoughts were along the lines of "maybe two or three
would be nice".
Well, how about a hundred or more? We couldn't believe our eyes. They were all over the place and this wasn't an animal park, just some hospital parklands.
And, as you can see, even babies in their jackets. Just too cute!
There was one huge male who immediately approached us to check up on the situation but Terry was ready with some bread so he seemed quite happy to let us wander amongst his troups.
And earlier, we'd been awakened to the sounds of some very noisy birds so I'd gone out to check what they were and found white cockatoos, another item on my must-see list.
Looks as though we are actually in Oz!!!

Loved seeing and hearing about the kangaroos. So happy you're having a wonderful Aussie experience. Linda, my sis is married to Wayne, an Australian. They lived in Melbourne for 6 yrs. about 23 yrs. ago.
