Another great evening in Riung. Tonight was the gala dinner with numerous displays of dancing performed primarily by schoolchildren. As before, it was excellent and the effort that has gone into this entertainment for us is overwhelming.
The following photos show just a very few of the performances. There were dozens and the variety was quite staggering from very traditional to very modern and performed by Christian and Muslim alike.

And I forgot to mention something else incredible that this village did for us.
When we arrived, there really was nowhere to tie our dinghies. But, like magic, the following morning this jetty had been erected. They cut the planks with a chainsaw and had it floating before any of us needed it in the morning. Amazing.
Riung will be unforgettable.
