Calypso's Journal: I guess we didn't come in unnoticed!

Nothing like signing off with a bit of drama! Thanks to the NSRI, friends and club members, all four boats tied up safely. Whew!

About Calypso

Calypso is a Montevideo 43-foot monohull, designed and built in South Africa and launched in 1993. Her design was developed for racing in the rough south Atlantic seas so she's a good safe and solid vessel. She spent much of her time on the Vaal Dam south of Johannesburg before being shipped down to Cape Town. There she was purchased by us in 2002 where we made numerous changes, turning her into a comfortable liveaboard cruising vessel. We set off from Cape Town in December of 2004 to circumnavigate the world.

These are the stories of our journey. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy living them.
