Bequia

Upon leaving Mayreau and the Tobago Cays, we decided not to stop off at the famous island of Mustique as we really aren’t quite in the same league as Mick Jagger or the late Princess Margaret & Co. We did, however, spend a night at Canouan but it was terribly rolly and is really only geared to those chartering yachts through the Moorings company hence the short stay.

So we headed over to Bequia to arrive just in time for New Year’s Eve, and guess who we bumped into? Yup, our party animals, the crew of ‘Jus³ Do It’! What better people to see in the new year.

Bequia is very popular with the cruising fraternity who spend year after year travelling up and down the Eastern Caribbean island chains. It’s very nice but very expensive and we felt Robyn’s time was running short and there was still so much to see. All in all, we stayed a week before heading out to the main island of the Grenadines, St. Vincent.
