We were dying to show Robyn some of the places we had previously visited during our first stop in Tobago so took the rather rough overnight trip from Trinidad back eastwards against winds and currents. Our first stop was at Store Bay on the southwest end of the island where we met up with our friends aboard Merluza and met a few others as well. Store Bay is quite an active anchorage and has quite a reasonable beach which is popular with the locals. On the weekends, the beach is crowded and one can sit on your boat taking in the sights and sounds of their parties along with the highs of breathing in the endless weed that they smoke.
A week passed and we headed off back up to Charlotteville in Man o' War Bay. Sadly, they had experienced a few bad storms in our absence and the beautiful white sandy beach at Pirate's Cove had been reduced to a thin sliver which was now very difficult to beach the dinghy. However, we did enjoy a few hikes around the area and Robyn got a real taste of island style.
